At the recent meeting of the East Midlands Regional Panel we discussed various ways in which we could help with members problems/queries instead of every one automatically telephoning the staff at Head Office, Corby.

Many of the problems can be dealt with quickly and efficiently at local level.

We have therefore decided to have a County representative as the first port of call, if the problem cannot be resolved it will then pass to the regional representative and if a solution still cannot be found then it will be passed to Head Quarters for further help.

Members can be of course still telephone HQ if they so wish but by adopting this method of referral we are trying to remove some of the pressure presently being directed at Corby Office.

Would all members in the East Midlands please note the following names as County representatives for initial contact if you have a problem.
