Bill Greenaway
We regret to announce the passing of Bill Greenaway in December 2003.
The funeral took place on December 22nd at St Mary's Church Hinckley followed by cremation at Nuneaton Crematorium.
Geof Stokes, National Secretary, the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of East Midlands Regional Panel, the Regional Representative and many members of Burbage Gardening Club attended.
Bill was a life Vice-President of the National Society of Allotment & Leisure Gardeners and was also a founder member of Leicestershire Allotment & Leisure Gardeners Council to which he became the first Secretary for twenty-five years.
He was also a founder member of the East Midlands Regional Panel and held the office of Vice Chairman for many years. He was also part of the Management Committee.
He will be sorely missed.
Before the East Midlands Regional Committee meeting on 7th February members stood for a minute's silence in his honour.
