Leciester Allotment Newletter Volume 1, Issue 1.

City's Horticultural Show - Why Not Show Us Yours!

LAGC display stand with Rowlatts Hill's Fred Driver and LAGC secretary Mike Peet.

LAGC again last year had a stand at the City of Leicester Horticultural Show at the Aylestone Leisure Centre on the August Bank Holiday.

Many keen gardeners exhibited the fruits ( and veg) of their labours at the 6th Annual Show.

Although many of you may think your efforts may not be good enough or are not sure if you could compete with the high stands exhibited last year, why not give the show organisers a call and ask their advice? Why don't you ask if someone from the Judges Guild could come along to you society and give a talk on what is required in showing flowers and vegetables? Do this early enough so that you can get ready for the August Show.

For details of the show and schedules call 271 5278 or 223 8921.

Have a go, support your City's Show!
