Attendance 24 delegates from 13 societies.
Matters Arising:
Barbra Walker spoke about her job and the work she is doing at Groundwork and some of the things she may be able to do for Allotment Society's.
Correspondence:
Mr J Clarke read a letter from Mr M Eaton about the City of Leicester Show and would individual Society’s like to have a table at the Show. Mr Howgill asked all present if they would by interested and a show of hands was given. Letter from Mr Griffiths resigning from the meetings. Email from the Rookies A/S thanking everyone involved in the presentation evening.

Mr Howgill will send out A.U.C.C. minutes to members of L.A.G.C.
Mr Howgill and Mr Cooper would attend Evington Valley’s next A.G.M. to talk to the members about joining the National because officially Society’s not members of the National could not have delegates attending L.A.G.C.
The five society’s in the Newparks area of Leicester had joined together and formed The West Leicester Allotment Forum the societies are Reservoir A/S. Whitehouse A/S. Newparks A/S. Groby Road A/S. and Glenfield Road A/S. The objectives of the Forum are to help and give advise to each other with problems involving the management of our Allotment Society’s, also to enable us to buy seed potatoes and society’s shop supplies in bulk.
Any Other Business:
Mr Middleton Whitehouse A/S. spoke about rents and suggests that all society’s put there rents up to £20.00. The secretary said that a lot of societies had been putting up there rent by £1.00 per year over the last 4 years to get them to the £20.00 mark. Mr Gray Evington Hilltop A/S. had a case of fly tipping were a householder who lived on his boundary had put rubbish from his house on site. He asked for it to be brought up at the next A.U.C.C. meeting. Mrs Cooper who is the mentor for Evington Hilltop said she had phoned Mr Jarmaine the societies secretary the week before and he had not reported the problem.
